Vintage Lemania "Majetek" Czech Military Air Force watch

This watch was made for the Czech Air Force during the 1940's and bears the wording "Majetek Vojenske Spravy" meaning "Property of the military administration" which is engraved into the case back. This watch was never sold to the general public, there are no markings on the dial so collectors have come to call it the “Lemania Majetek”.

The movement has been fully serviced and comes guaranteed in running condition. It contains 17 jewels, including a very fine jewel fitted to the spring covering the sweep second pinion in the middle of the watch.

The stainless steel case has been refinished to its original look but we have not done any work to the dial and hands, which show a nice patina. The width of the case is 37mm (excluding the crown) and 50mm long from lug to lug. This was quite a large watch for its day.
