Rotherhams 18ct gold pocket watch

Rotherhams 18ct gold hunter pocket watch circa 1798.

Housed within the heavily engraved watch case is a key-wound fusee movement featuring an English lever escapement.

The watch case, made by Henry Bamford of Clerkenwell, London, is in excellent condition.

Blued steel hands indicate the time on a gold dial printed in black Roman numerals.

The watch measures 41mm (excluding the bow).

This beautiful watch has been completely serviced and is in full running order.
