1960's Swiss made Valex manual wind watch
The gold plated case is in good condition with no wear through the plating. The back has been engraved at some point with the name C. Reynolds
The movement is a manual wind Swiss made AS 1686 with Incabloc shockproofing and 17 jewels. The AS 1686 movement is well known for reliability and robustness and was one of the most widely used movements in it's day. It has been fully service and comes guaranteed running to it's original specs
The watch has been fitted with a new crystal, crown and genuine leather strap
Please note that although the case back is marked "waterproof", due to the age of the watch, it is not recommended to wear this watch in or around water
