Omega Seamaster "Anakin Skywalker," reference 145.023, circa 1972. This is one of Omega's more unusual chronographs — an octagonal, helmet-like case in tungsten carbide over stainless steel, with integral pushers, a screw-down crown, and hidden lugs. Collectors nicknamed it after Anakin Skywalker for its distinctive shape, with the matching gloss-black version known as "Darth Vader." It's genuinely rare, and pieces like this don't come up for sale often.
Inside is the manual-winding Omega Caliber 861, the same chronograph movement famously used in the Speedmaster Professional. We completed a full service to Omega specifications in 2024, replacing the crown, pushers, and seals, and fitted a new bracelet at the same time. It's been hardly worn since, and the owner has now decided to part with it.
The watch is in good overall condition, with some damage to the tungsten carbide bezel as shown in the photographs. This is offered as a watch only; box and papers are not included.
