Xemex Avenue Automatic Chronograph, circa early-to-mid 2000s. Xemex is a Swiss brand founded in 1996 by designer Ruedi Külling, known for clean, railway-clock-inspired dials, and the Avenue was one of its most distinctive pieces — this example has a black dial and sits on its original metal bracelet. At approximately 33mm, it's a compact, elegant chronograph rather than a tool watch.
Inside is the automatic ETA 2894 movement, a well-regarded workhorse calibre. We've had it through our workshop for a clean and service, with rubber gaskets replaced where possible.
The dial and hands are in excellent condition, and the brushed bracelet is excellent as well. The case has a mix of brushed and polished finishing with a few minor marks consistent with age. It comes complete with its original box and papers, though the guarantee card was never filled in, so we can't confirm an exact purchase date.
